Clothing sales of 100 million yuan decreased by .% year-on-year

According to the latest statistics from Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, clothing sales in Japan’s large department stores and supermarkets in April 2016 were 339.7 billion yen, a year-on-year decrease of 5.2%. Among them, the sales volume of men’s clothing totaled 58.7 billion yen, down 3.2% year-on-year; the sales volume of women’s clothing and children’s clothing totaled 177.7 billion yen, down 5.4% year-on-year; the sales volume of other clothing was 18.3 billion yen, down 4.9% year-on-year.
