New orders in Finland’s textile industry decrease by .%

Recently, Statistics Finland released news that new orders for Finland’s manufacturing industry in February decreased by 5.5% year-on-year, and orders from January to February decreased by 3.3% year-on-year. In addition, only the paper industry received more orders that month than the same period last year. Orders in the paper and paperboard industry increased by 3.9% year-on-year, while orders in the textile industry decreased by 9.8%, new orders in the chemical industry decreased by 6.6%, and the metal industry decreased by 8%.
