EU and South Korea textile industry strengthen cooperation

High-level executives from the EU and South Korean textile and apparel industries met in Brussels this month. The two sides reached an agreement on further strengthening trade, investment, and R&D cooperation in the textile industry and signed a memorandum. In the future, the Korea Fiber Industry Federation (KOFOTI) and the European Textile and Apparel Alliance (EURATEX) will ensure the reasonable and healthy development of the textile industries of both parties in accordance with the spirit of the EU-Korea Free Trade Agreement
