On January 27, 2021, the Korea Trade Commission issued an announcement stating that, upon the application of the Korea Chemical Fibers Association, polyester Filament Fully Drawn originated in China Yarn, FDY) launched an anti-dumping investigation. The Korean tax number of the product involved is 5402.47.9000. The dumping investigation period in this case is from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020, and the damage investigation period is from January 1, 2017 to June 30, 2020. Except for another extension (2 months), the preliminary ruling will be made within 3 months from the date when the announcement of the filing of the case is published in the official gazette.
Stakeholders should register to respond within 3 weeks from the date the announcement is published in the official gazette.
