Bangladesh’s garment exports: US$100 million

According to the latest data from the Bangladesh Export Promotion Agency, Bangladesh’s garment exports in October 2020 were US$2.324 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 7.78%. This is also the first decrease since August after a year-on-year increase for the second consecutive month. Exports this fiscal year (counted from July 2020) were US$10.45 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 1.2%. Among them, woven garment exports were US$4.648 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 7.76%, and knitted garment exports were US$5.802 billion, a year-on-year increase of 4.76%.
