Driven by the rise in cotton prices in India, the forward shipping price of pure cotton yarn in India has increased significantly in the past two days. The February shipment quotation of C32S woven yarn has risen to 2.70-2.72 US dollars/kg, which is equivalent to arriving in late February or early March. At China’s main port, the cost of customs clearance and warehousing is 23,100-23,300 yuan/ton (the exchange rate is 6.96), which is at least 200 yuan/ton higher than the current mainstream transaction price in the domestic spot market.
