U.S. imports of textiles and clothing billions of dollars

In September 2015, the value of textile and apparel imports into the United States was US$10.59 billion, a year-on-year increase of 2.90% and a month-on-month decrease of 6.72%. Among them, textile and clothing imports from China were US$4.565 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 0.75%, a month-on-month decrease of 10.57%, accounting for 43.11% of the total import share of the United States; textile and clothing imports from Vietnam were US$1.064 billion, a year-on-year increase of 9.44%, a month-on-month decrease of 7.69%, accounting for the total 10.04% of the share; textile and clothing imports from India were US$600 million, a year-on-year increase of 11.67% and a month-on-month increase of 3.27%, accounting for 5.67% of the total share.
