According to statistics from the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competition, from January to November 2013, Spain exported US$11.17 billion in textiles and clothing, a year-on-year increase of 13.4%.
Data show that from January to November 2013, Spanish clothing exports were US$7.98 billion, an increase of 17% compared with the same period in 2012. Spanish textile and apparel imports amounted to US$13.67 billion, a year-on-year increase of 4.4%. Among them, clothing imports amounted to US$10.40 billion, a year-on-year increase of 3.7%. According to monthly statistics, in November 2013, Spain exported textiles and clothing to US$964 million, a year-on-year increase of 7.1%. Among them, clothing exports were US$672 million, a year-on-year increase of 12.5%. In November 2013, Spain imported 1.2 billion euros of textiles and clothing, a year-on-year increase of 7.7%. Among them, clothing imports were US$920 million, a year-on-year increase of 8.1%.
