Mauritius wants to simplify rules of origin for textile and apparel exports

According to the Mauritius Express, the Mauritian government looks forward to starting consultations with relevant parties as soon as possible on the “third country raw materials” restrictions in the African Growth and Opportunity Act, aiming to further simplify the rules of origin for exports of textiles, clothing, etc. The Mauritian government hopes to solve the above problems within two years under the AGOA framework.
