Starting from January 1, 2010, Macedonian import tariffs on textiles will be reduced by 1/3.
Merchants will lead to cut the prices of textiles in stores. Macedonian customs officials say textile import taxes will be reduced in line with the requirements of the agreement reached when Macedonia joined the World Trade Organization. Product prices will be cut from 25% to 17%.
