Service companies in Ho Chi Minh City need to hire workers to receive orders, increasing the re-employment rate

According to Vietnam’s “Saigon Liberation Daily”, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs reported on March 16 that a total of 195 companies in the city have closed or reduced their production scale since 2008, resulting in 26,401 people losing their jobs and 15,528 people unemployed. However, 21,382 unemployed people have found new jobs so far, with the reemployment rate reaching 81%. The main reason is that clothing and footwear manufacturers have received new orders and require a large number of workers.
