Peru imposes temporary anti-dumping duties on loafers and sneakers imported from China

On March 2, 2009, the Dumping and Subsidy Investigation Committee of the Peruvian National Antitrust and Protection of Intellectual Property Office announced Resolution No.033-2009/CFD-INDECOPI, deciding to impose restrictions on imports from China with a CIF price lower than or equal to US$5.97. A provisional anti-dumping duty of US$0.31 per pair is levied on casual shoes and sports shoes with textile material uppers. The resolution will take effect on the day after the second publication of this resolution in the Peruvian official newspaper “El Peruvian”.
