The European Special Examination Committee has announced new rules. Imported textiles must indicate the product name and description, especially the fiber type, name, raw material composition, etc. used in the product. Thailand exported textiles to the EU, with an average annual value of 47.017 billion baht from 2006 to 2008. Among them, Thailand’s total export value in 2008 was 45.122 billion baht, a decrease of 1.3%.
