According to data from the General Bureau of Statistics of Vietnam, the sales index of processing and manufacturing in September 2015 increased by 5.3% compared with August, and increased by 13.4% compared with the same period last year.
The cumulative sales index for processing and manufacturing in the first nine months of this year increased by 13.1% compared with the same period last year. Among them, industries with higher sales index growth include: the production of electronic products, computers, and optical products increased by 53.8%, the production of vehicles with engines increased by 27.6%, and the production of metals increased by 23.2%.
Those with low sales index increases include: paper and paper products production increased by 9.8%, pharmaceuticals and medicinal materials production increased by 9.7%, power equipment production increased by 9%, food production and processing increased by 8.5%, and beverage production increased by 5%.
