On October 20, 2015, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Golden Horse Company jointly announced a voluntary recall of Chinese-made children’s shorts.
The name of the recalled product is children’s shorts, equipped with a zipper and a trouser pocket on each side. The product code is 4122186 or 4122185. It was sold in Belk stores and its website in the United States from June 2015 to September 2015. The price is about $24.
About 8,300 of the recalled products were sold in the United States. The reason for the recall is that the zipper may have detached, posing a choking hazard to children. So far, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and GoldenHorse have not received any accident reports.
For this reason, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recommends that consumers immediately stop using the product and contact the Belk store to obtain a full refund. The United States implements a voluntary recall of Chinese-made children’s shorts
