On October 16, the TEXCON2015 Textile and Apparel Conference hosted by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) was held in Mumbai. During the informal meeting, the Tajikistan delegation signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Northern Indian Textile Research Association (NITRA).
As required by the memorandum, NITRA’s textile research scholars will share Indian textile research results and expertise with the research institutions of the Engineering University of Tajikistan. In order to promote the development of Tajikistan’s textile industry, NITRA will also set up training centers in several core textile factories in the country.
Armen Zargaryan, head of the Tajik Textile Delegation, said; “We believe that India is one of the several knowledge powers in the world. It can give us a lot of knowledge and skills training, and can also help us establish contacts with excellent suppliers in India. .”
