On September 4, 2015, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and James Company jointly announced a voluntary recall of Chinese-made children’s sportswear.
The name of the recalled product is children’s sportswear, and the product code is IR6012. Product material is 75% cotton, 25% polyester fiber. It was sold throughout the United States and on thejtg.com from November 2012 to August 2015, priced at approximately US$20.
About 1,200 of the recalled products were sold in the United States. The reason for the recall is that the cords around the neck of children’s sportswear may pose a choking hazard to children. So far, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and James Company have not received any accident reports.
For this reason, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recommends that consumers immediately stop using this product and contact James Company to obtain a full refund. The United States implements a voluntary recall of Chinese-made children’s sportswear
