According to China Customs statistics, the national fabric import and export volume from January to June 2015 was 19.91 billion meters, a year-on-year increase of 2.2%, and the import and export volume was US$29.24 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 0.7%. Among them, the export quantity was 18.47 billion meters, an increase of 3.2%; the export value was US$26.12 billion, an increase of 1.1%; the average export unit price was US$1.41/kg, a year-on-year decrease of 2.1%. The import quantity was 1.44 billion meters, a decrease of 9.4%; the import value was US$3.12 billion, a decrease of 13.1%. The average unit price of imports was US$2.17/meter, a year-on-year decrease of 4.1%.
1. Fabric exports increased in June.
In June, the national fabric export volume was 3.4 billion meters, a year-on-year increase of 7.7%; the export value was US$4.79 billion, a year-on-year increase of 5.2%. Among them, the export value of silk woven fabrics and wool animal hair woven fabrics was US$60 million, with a decrease of 21% and 8.9% respectively. The export value of cotton cloth and chemical fiber woven fabrics increased, with the export value reaching US$1.14 billion and US$1.78 billion respectively, an increase of 4.7% and 5.2% respectively.

From January to June, Asia was the main market for China’s fabric exports, accounting for 65.3% of China’s fabric exports. The export volume was US$17.05 billion, a year-on-year increase of 3.9%. In the first six months of this year, exports to ASEAN grew relatively steadily, with export volume of 4.5 billion meters, a year-on-year increase of 9.5%; export value was US$7.79 billion, an increase of 11.3%. Among them, exports to Malaysia increased most significantly, with exports of US$530 million, an increase of 24%; exports to Vietnam, Cambodia and Myanmar also increased to varying degrees, with exports of US$3.77 billion, US$830 million and US$360 million respectively, an increase of 16.9%. , 8.3% and 9.4%.
From January to June, China’s fabric exports to Hong Kong were US$1.9 billion, down 8.1%. Exports to Bangladesh and Pakistan have grown to varying degrees, with export values ​​reaching US$1.8 billion and US$870 million respectively, an increase of 13.4% and 7.7%. Exports to India declined slightly, with exports of US$580 million, a decrease of 0.7%.
From January to June, China’s fabric exports to Japan were US$240 million, a decrease of 13.8%. Exports to North America increased, with export value reaching US$1.11 billion, an increase of 15.3%. Exports to the EU and Latin America declined, with export values ​​reaching US$1.89 billion and US$2.32 billion respectively, a decrease of 11.

3. The export price of fabrics has dropped significantly
From January to June 2015, the export price of fabrics was US$1.41/meter, a year-on-year decrease of 2.1%. The export price of fabrics to Asia was US$1.6/meter, down 0.7% year-on-year; the export prices of fabrics to the EU and Latin American markets were US$1.43/meter and 1.09 yuan/meter respectively, down 3.5% and 5% respectively. The export price of cotton cloth has increased. It was 1.70 yuan/meter, an increase of 0.4%; the export prices of silk woven fabrics, wool animal hair woven fabrics and chemical fiber fabrics all dropped, to 5.67 US dollars/meter, 7.36 US dollars/meter and 1.14 US dollars/meter respectively, a decrease of 2.4 US dollars respectively. %, 3.7% and 0.6%.
