Home textile exports are still expected to maintain stable and medium-speed growth

In the first quarter of this year, China’s cumulative exports of home textile products increased by 5% year-on-year.
The relevant person in charge of the China Home Textile Industry Association believes that from the external situation, the international environment in 2015 is still complex and changeable. The recovery process of some emerging economies is still relatively difficult and tortuous. Coupled with international geopolitical turmoil, falling crude oil prices, and rising prices of domestic labor and other factors, industry costs have increased. These are all unfavorable factors for China’s home textile exports.
But at the same time, China’s home textile exports face more favorable aspects: for example, developed economies such as the United States and the European Union are indeed accelerating their recovery, and China’s home textile exports to them will maintain steady growth; although the growth rate of emerging economies is slowing down, , but can still maintain rapid growth; in addition, Chinese home textile companies are currently accelerating exchanges and cooperation with countries around the world; coupled with the country’s “stabilizing export” measures such as promoting export upgrades and the expectation of depreciation of the effective exchange rate of the RMB. Therefore, the industry expects that China’s home textile exports will maintain a stable and medium-speed growth in 2015.
