Exports to Bangladesh and India declined, with export amounts reaching US$380 million and US$230 million, down 1.4% and 3.8% respectively.
From January to May, China’s yarn exports to Japan were US$160 million, a decrease of 2.5%; exports to North America increased, with an export value of US$270 million, an increase of 13.8%. Exports to the EU and Latin America were US$460 million and US$250 million, a decrease of 24% and 1.1% respectively.
