From January to March, woven garment exports were US$16.35 billion, an increase of 9.7%, and the export volume increased by 15.4%. Knitted apparel exports were US$14.68 billion, down 6.1%, and export volume fell by 5.1%. The export of fur leather clothing was US$200 million, down 33.7%. In terms of commodity materials, cotton garment exports were US$59.73 billion, a decrease of 4.4%; chemical fiber garment exports were US$13.48 billion, an increase of 8%.
3. Guangdong Province’s exports ranked first, with a growth rate of over 20%
Among the top five provinces and cities in apparel exports, Guangdong and Zhejiang rank in the top two, with export volumes of US$7.47 and US$6.47 billion respectively, a year-on-year increase of 20% and 5.4%; Jiangsu’s export volume is US$4.73 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 3.7%, ranking third. .
