Cameroon will launch the first phase of genetically modified cotton trial planting

According to a report on the Investing in Cameroon website on January 7, news from the Cameroon Cotton Development Company (Sodecoton) said that the company will launch the second phase of genetically modified cotton trials in 2015, which will be the same as the first phase in October 2014. The difference between the closed trial planting is that the second phase is an open trial planting. If the trial planting results are good within three years, the company may officially introduce and plant genetically modified cotton in 2018.
