According to China Customs statistics, from January to October this year, the country’s yarn export volume was 3.346 million tons, an increase of 11%.
Since the beginning of this year, my country’s yarn exports have continued to rise, and the export value of chemical fiber yarns has grown rapidly from January to October. Although the amount of yarn exports has increased, export prices have always remained low. Most yarn company leaders said that the decline in yarn export prices has directly affected the company’s operating profits. From January to October 2014, the national yarn export value was US$10.21 billion, an increase of 1.1%; the average export unit price was US$3.05/kg, a year-on-year decrease of 8.9%. Industry insiders said that as the current economic recovery in developed economies has increased market demand, which is good for my country’s yarn exports, it is expected that my country’s yarn exports will continue to maintain steady growth in the future.
