Turkmenistan has a total of 545,000 hectares of cotton fields, and has now prepared 500 cotton picking machines, transport vehicles and other supporting machinery. In the early stage of cotton picking, manual methods are used to ensure quality; by early September, Combine cotton will be picked. There are 159 purchasing points and 36 cotton gins in the country. Cotton farmers will purchase the excess amount at a price of 130%. This is the third year that this policy has been implemented. This year’s cotton output is planned to be 1.05 million tons.
