News: Cotton cloth exports decreased by .% year-on-year

According to customs statistics, my country’s cotton cloth imports in May 2014 were 56.8986 million meters, a month-on-month decrease of 21.47%, a decrease of 40.52 percentage points larger than the previous month; a year-on-year decrease of 29.6%, a decrease of 28.6 percentage points larger than the previous month. In the same month, my country’s cotton cloth export volume was 751.996 million meters, a month-on-month decrease of 6.94%, a decrease of 27.73 percentage points larger than the previous month; a year-on-year decrease of 8.58%, a decrease of 2.92 percentage points larger than the previous month.
In 2013/14 (2013.9-2014.5), my country imported a total of 543.295 million meters of cotton cloth, a year-on-year decrease of 11.96%; the cumulative export of cotton cloth was 6335.1634 million meters, a year-on-year decrease of 3.51%.
