Therefore, multinational apparel companies have begun to consider transferring processing orders to Africa. For example, in Jiangsu, China, the minimum wage is approximately $177 per month, while in Kenya, the minimum wage is approximately $105 per month. This year, Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, will host the “Made in Africa” ​​international clothing exhibition. Kenyan textile companies hope to take the opportunity to obtain more processing orders from multinational clothing companies. Clothing retail giant H&M said it is considering processing and manufacturing clothing in Kenya and Ethiopia.
