-China’s silk clothing export situation

According to data from the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textiles, from January to March, my country exported a total of 23.078 million pieces (sets) of silk clothing, a year-on-year decrease of 68.7%, and the export value was US$243.528 million, a year-on-year decrease of 21.5%. The top five markets by export volume are the United States, Hong Kong, Japan, Italy, and Germany, with their market shares being 39.14%, 9.62%, 8.74%, 4.51%, and 4.5% respectively. The top five provinces and cities in export volume are: Zhejiang, Guangdong, Shanghai, Jiangsu, and Sichuan, with the five markets accounting for 89.74% of the total share. Sichuan’s export quantity was 2.2791 million pieces (sets), a year-on-year decrease of 74.37%, accounting for 9.88%, and the export value was US$7.214 million, a year-on-year decrease of 45.32%.
