According to statistics from the Zhangjiagang Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, compared with the weak import and export of other products since the beginning of this year, 5,959 tons of wool strips were exported in the first quarter, a year-on-year increase of 12.2%.
In order to further amplify the advantages of Zhangjiagang Wool Textile Industry Cluster, the Zhangjiagang Inspection and Quarantine Bureau strengthens the credit supervision of wool export enterprises, provides support in technological innovation, responds to foreign technical trade measures, etc., and controls the quality of export products. On the other hand, enterprises should be guided to make full use of various preferential origin policies to enhance their competitiveness in the international market. In the first quarter, the bureau issued 146 GSP certificates of origin for enterprises exporting wool strips and wool noils, with a value of US$33.4 million, a year-on-year increase of 180.8% and 225.2% respectively.
