On February 11, 2014, Health Canada and JCorp jointly announced a voluntary recall of Chinese-made girls’ vests.
The product name of this recall is a girl’s vest, with a drawstring at the neck, sleeveless, and the product code is 3XAA089-22GF. Sold in Canada from October 2013 to January 2014.
About 980 units of the recalled products were sold in Canada. The reason for the recall is that the drawstring at the neck of the coat may pose a choking hazard to children. As of now, Health Canada and JCorp have not received any reports of accidents.
For this reason, Health Canada recommends that consumers remove the drawstring immediately.
