News: Cotton export volume decreased year-on-year and month-on-month

According to customs statistics, my country’s cotton cloth imports in September 2013 were 66.0345 million meters, a month-on-month decrease of 9.05%, a decrease of 3 percentage points larger than the previous month; a year-on-year decrease of 7.94%, a decrease of 8.58 percentage points larger than the previous month. In the same month, my country’s cotton cloth export volume was 752.3936 million meters, a month-on-month increase of 0.89%, an increase of 8.64 percentage points compared with the previous month; a year-on-year increase of 6.5%, an increase of 24.02 percentage points smaller than the previous month.
