The clothing was found in a secret warehouse in the Victoria District of Lima. The above-mentioned clothing is banned from sale because it contains germs and mites that can make people sick. The value of the above-mentioned goods exceeds 25,000 soles. It is reported that the small traders engaged in illegal sales of the above goods have fled the scene.
Recently, due to pressure from Peruvian domestic clothing manufacturers on the government, Peru has increased its efforts to investigate and deal with illegal activities such as clothing smuggling and low-price customs declarations. These clothing mainly come from China. Previously, Peruvian authorities also seized a batch of counterfeit brand clothing at Lima’s largest clothing wholesale and retail market.
