On April 7, 2016, Brazil launched its first anti-dumping sunset review investigation into elastic and inelastic synthetic fiber knitted fabrics originating in China. On February 17, 2017, the Executive Committee of the Brazilian Foreign Trade Commission (GECEX) issued Resolution No. 7 of 2017 in the official gazette, making a positive final ruling on the anti-dumping sunset review investigation of China’s synthetic fiber knitted fabrics and deciding to continue to impose sanctions on the Chinese products involved.
