Pakistan’s Punjab textile factory delays investment plan

The All Pakistan Textile Enterprises Federation recently stated that Punjab’s textile industry accounts for 75% of Pakistan’s textile industry, but the energy crisis has caused serious obstacles to the export potential, employment absorption and investment increase of Punjab’s textile industry. Many factories in the province have postponed investment plans as a result. The chairman of the association said that the new government should solve the energy crisis as soon as possible and ensure the supply of gas to the textile industry five days a week to meet the production needs of factories.
