The reporter learned from the latest data released by Shunde Customs that from January to April this year, Shunde exported US$350 million in textiles and clothing, an increase of 27.2% over the same period last year (the same below).
In the local textile export market, the EU and the United States are the main export markets. Textile exports to the EU and the United States increased from January to April, while my country’s Hong Kong market experienced a slight decline. In emerging markets, exports to Latin America and ASEAN increased significantly, with exports to ASEAN tripling.
Private enterprise exports still occupy a dominant position. Data show that from January to April this year, Shunde private enterprises exported US$220 million in textile and clothing, an increase of 69.5%, accounting for 62.4% of Shunde’s total textile and clothing export value in the same period; foreign-invested enterprises exported US$130 million, a decrease of 10.1%, accounting for 37.2%. ; State-owned enterprises exported US$1.28 million, down 4.2%, accounting for 0.4%.
