On December 7, 2012, the European Union’s Rapid Early Warning System for Non-Food Products (RAPEX) issued a consumer warning on Chinese-made “F&D” brand girls’ pants. The notifying country in this case is Hungary. The girls’ pants are light pink, with drawstrings at the ankles and buttons at the pockets and waist. The sizes are 104 to 134, and the style/model code is DY-1202.
Since the girls’ pants are designed with drawstrings at the ankles, improper use may cause injury to children. This product does not comply with the relevant EU standard EN14682.
Currently, the Hungarian authorities have ordered the product to be withdrawn from the market and recalled.
To this end, it is recommended that relevant domestic production and export enterprises attach great importance to this.
