On October 13, 2022, the US CPSC announced a recall of Chinese-made children’s bathrobes.

The recalled product is children’s bathrobes from Ekouaer. Product is made of 65% cotton and 35% polyester. Available in short and long sleeve styles in sizes 110, 120, 130, 140 and 150. The long-sleeved bathrobe comes in 11 colors, including aqua, Christmas pattern, grid pattern, navy, pink, pink rainbow, purple, purple rainbow, rose red, red, and sky blue. The short-sleeved bathrobe comes in 7 colors, namely aqua, navy, pink, purple, red, rose, and white.

The product does not meet the flammability standards for children’s pajamas and may cause burns to children.

The recalled products were sold in the United States from March 2020 to July 2021, with 9,200 units sold, priced at US$19-38.

So far, no accidents or casualties have been reported.

CPSC recommends that you stop using this product immediately and contact Ekouaer for a full refund.
