In response to market demand, 600D oxford fabrics for luggage must be waterproof, scratch-proof, abrasion-proof, and durable, and must also be ultra-light, ultra-thin, and have good toughness. While Oxford cloth meets these needs, its price is much cheaper than leather and genuine leather.
The 600D Oxford cloth woven by a water-jet loom has a density of 13*13, a square meter weight of 432, and a door width of about 150cm. After being processed by dyeing, coating, calendering, foaming, compounding and other processes, it has the characteristics of thick, good elasticity, strong firmness, soft luster, good waterproofness and good durability. After the product is coated with waterproof, PU, PV or polyurethane, it is the first choice fabric for trolley cases, backpacks, etc. It is the best-selling Oxford fabric on the market.
210D Oxford cloth and 420D Oxford cloth are thinner and less durable than 600D Oxford cloth. Oxford cloth with a “D” number or above is used in luggage fabrics with functional post-processing. After coating, it plays the role of waterproof and flame retardant, and is more durable and strong. In general, the larger the D number, the more durable it is.
