Vietnam’s textile exports to the United States increased by % year-on-year in the first half

According to Vietnam’s “Investment News”, the Vietnam Textile Association (Vitas) stated that Vietnam’s textile exports to the United States in the first half of 2010 were US$2.75 billion, a year-on-year increase of 20%.
Vitas said that many textile companies in Vietnam have signed export orders until the end of 2010, and the export prices of various commodities have increased by 10-15% year-on-year. They are expected to complete the 2010 textile export target of US$10.5 billion.
