On December 17, 2009, the Dominican Trade Injury and Safeguard Measures Committee issued Resolution No. 45 of 2009, canceling the investigation of special safeguard measures against Chinese sock products launched in April 2009. The Dominican investigation agency believes that the purpose of the safeguard measures is to temporarily adjust imports to prevent or remedy damage to the domestic industry so that the domestic industry can adjust. However, China is not the only source of imports of sock products, and the special safeguard investigation against China cannot achieve the above purpose. Therefore, Many parties decided to terminate the special safeguards investigation.
