At the meeting, technical experts discussed the composition of indicators for identification and evaluation of mulberry germplasm resources in Sichuan Province, indicator interpretation, indicator survey time, data collection, image shooting, etc., and determined the indicator system and survey methods. Various types of mulberry germplasm resources including cultivated varieties, local varieties, introduced varieties, wild resources, and genetic materials from six provincial-level mulberry germplasm resource nurseries were sorted out. The identification and evaluation tasks for 2022 and the provincial mulberry germplasm resource list were agreed upon.
