2021 In September, my country’s PX import volume was 1.2093 million tons. The import volume increased by 113,300 tons compared with the August import volume, an increase of +10.34%. The average import price was US$917.7/ton. In September, domestic PX production started to decline slightly and output decreased. The demand for PX from downstream PTA was acceptable, so PX imports increased slightly in September.

In September 2021, my country’s main PX importing countries are South Korea, Japan and Brunei, of which South Korea accounts for 45% of the total import volume, an increase of 7% from August’s PX import proportion; Japan accounts for It accounted for 16% of the total import volume, a decrease of 9% from the import share in August.

In September 2021, the main importing places of PX in my country are Zhejiang Province, Liaoning Province and Jiangsu Province, accounting for 84% of the total import volume. These three places are the main production areas of downstream PTA. For PX The demand is high. </p
