On May 21, Xu Jinming, Director of the Standing Committee of the People’s Congress of Gaoyang County, Hebei Province, Liu Xinqiao, Chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, and Xu Run, Member of the Standing Committee of the County Party Committee and Executive Deputy County Magistrate, came to our city to inspect and exchange the Shonan Textile Industry Base project. Duan Ming, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Vice Mayor, attended the event.
The inspection team visited the Xiangnan Textile Industry Base Exhibition Hall, Kangjie Clothing, Environmental Protection Facility Park and other places, and learned in detail about the work related to the creation of Changning’s textile industry chain.
The Xiangnan Textile Industry Base is a key industrial project in Hunan Province and a key project in Hengyang to build a 100 billion industrial cluster. Through construction in recent years, the industrial agglomeration has grown stronger and the project construction has achieved remarkable results. In the first phase, 55 companies have officially signed contracts, 32 companies have settled in the apparel production park, and 23 companies have settled in the environmental protection facility park. Kangjie Clothing Co., Ltd. is one of the first denim apparel companies to move from Guangdong to the southern Hunan textile industry base. It now produces 6,000 pieces of denim apparel per day, and its products have been exported to European and American markets.
The inspection team highly praised the establishment of Changning’s textile industry chain, believing that Changning has clear industries, complete industrial chain construction, and complete service platforms, which are characteristic of Changning. He also hopes that both parties will strengthen exchanges and cooperation and develop together.
