On December 8, 2021, the U.S. Consumer Safety Commission (CPSC) announced a recall of Chinese-made children’s robes.

The recalled product is StarArtinLinen’s 100% polyester robe. The product is available in 6 sizes: 2, 3-4, 5-6, 6-7, 7-8, 10-12, and 7 colors: black, navy, blue plaid, red plaid, red, royal blue, gray . There are 2 pockets on the front of the product and a belt. “Made in China” and “100% Polyester” are printed on the label.

The product does not meet federal flammability standards for children’s pajamas and poses a burn hazard to children.

The product was sold in the United States from August 2019 to July 2021, with approximately 10,000 pieces sold, priced at US$35-45.

So far, no reports of accidents or casualties have been received.

CPSC recommends consumers to stop using the product immediately and contact MarkofFifthAvenue for a full refund.
