Although the same merging and twisting process is used, due to the different materials used and the different degrees of processing, the resulting linear properties are not exactly the same. These directly affect the appearance and performance of the fabric. In order to improve the quality of the product, it is very important to select raw materials and design the processing method of the silk thread. Silk threads are generally divided into four different line types according to the degree of twisting: bisection silk (untwisted silk), weakly twisted silk, medium twisted silk and strong twisted silk. Taking the linear density of 45~65dtex (40~60 denier) as an example, below 10 twist/cm is weak twist, above 20 twist/cm is strong twist, and anything between the two is medium twist.
