Italian textile and apparel industry layoff ban ends

Yahoo Finance Italy website reported on November 1 that the layoff ban will take effect from February 2020 and end on October 31 this year. Starting from November 1, workers in the tertiary industry, small businesses, handicrafts, textiles, clothing and leather products and other industries will be likely to be laid off. The government has issued a tax law decree to extend the layoff fund until the end of the fourth quarter.
