Bangladesh Chaity Group invested 2 billion taka to build an ultra-modern integrated textile factory in Naraynganj area. The group plans to produce textiles, clothing, and apparel, and its products will be supplied to well-known brands such as H&M, JCPenny, Reebok, Adidas, and Wal-Mart.
The factory imports modern equipment from Europe, with a daily production capacity of 40 tons. The factory will produce high-quality fabrics for domestic and foreign countries, aiming to save foreign exchange and reduce domestic fabric imports.
The factory is named Chaity Comprehensive Company. Industry insiders said that the factory is a milestone in the rapid development of Bangladesh’s textile and garment industry.
