Bangladesh textile and garment industry puts forward new proposals to government

The four major textile and garment chambers of commerce in Bangladesh, BGMEA, BKMEA, BTMA, and MSTMA, will make suggestions to the government in the near future, including increasing export subsidies from the current 5% to 15% and deferring bank loan interest payments for 2 years. Bangladesh’s Textile Minister said the government will actively consider these suggestions.
