It is recommended that the Indian central government continue to impose sanctions on China. Anti-dumping duties are levied on the product, and the amount is the difference between the reference price of US$37.32/kg and the CIF price.
The final ruling did not grant market economy treatment to Chinese enterprises, calculated the normal value of Chinese products based on Indian market prices, and determined Chinese export prices based on Indian statistical data. It was determined that Chinese dumping continued to exist, with a margin of 31%.
In terms of damage, the final ruling held that during the investigation period, India’s imports from China surged, accounting for 93% of all imports from 28% in the basic year, and doubling its share in India’s domestic market (0.88% to 1.74%). %); India’s domestic industrial production and sales have increased, and market share has remained stable. However, there are 10-15% price cuts and price reductions on Chinese products, resulting in Indian domestic companies’ sales prices being lower than production costs, and the latter cannot obtain due profits. The final ruling determined that the damage to India’s domestic industry continues to exist, with a range of 15%-20%.
No Chinese company responded to the lawsuit. The China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textile Products once put forward opinions on the “fact disclosure” of this case, and its view that the review should not expand the scope of the products involved was adopted by the Indian authorities.
