Technical personnel went deep into various base towns to organize and mobilize silkworm farmers to strengthen mulberry orchard management. In the fields, technicians from the County Specialty Products Center trained sericulture farmers step by step on mulberry tree pruning, weeding and soil loosening, whitening and pest control, reclamation and fertilization, and other winter scientific management tasks, setting off a winter management boom in the sericulture industry.
So far, 50,000 acres of the county’s 55,000 acres of mulberry gardens have been pruned and pruned, 40,000 acres have been whitewashed and dewormed, and 35,000 acres have been reclaimed and fertilized.
