According to statistics from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Vietnam, Vietnam’s exports of finished textile products reached US$7.18 billion in the first quarter of 2021, an increase of 1.1% compared with the same period in 2020; exports of fiber and textile yarn increased by 31% ; Exports of canvas and industrial fabrics grew by 8.8%.
Vietnamese securities company VNDIRECT predicted in the first quarter of 2021 that with the economic recovery of Vietnam’s textile industry’s major export markets such as the United States, the European Union, Japan, and South Korea, Vietnam’s textile products Export value will also grow upward. VNDIRECT said that Vietnam’s textile industry exports will grow by 8.4% in the second quarter of 2021 compared with the same period in 2020.
